Born Far Rockaway, New York; Education: State University of New York at Buffalo (B.A.) , The American University, Washington College of Law (J.D.). Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1973; Washington, D.C. Bar; 1974, New York Bar, 1978; and Florida Bar, 1984. Mr. Wolmer has served as Senior Attorney at the U.S. General Accounting Office, and subsequently, was Senior Counsel at Hazeltine Corporation. For the period April 1979 through April 1985, he was Assistant Division Counsel with United Technologies Corporation, Pratt and Whitney. During Mr. Wolmer’s tenure with United Technologies Corporation, his practice included contract negotiations with U.S. Government agencies, U.S. corporations, foreign governments and international corporations; international and domestic corporate/business transactional matters, commercial sales, acquisitions and mergers; international and domestic licensing of technology; and drafting of contracts, subcontracts and leases for international and domestic sales.
Mr. Wolmer’s area of expertise includes all phases of banking law, contract negotiations with specific emphasis on banking and commercial real estate and non-real estate transactional matters in the loan origination and debt restructure (work-out) areas, as well as representation of financial institutions, corporate clients and many national title insurance companies. He is actively engaged in the representation of both financial institutions as well as individual/business clients in the loan origination/processing area as well as assisting various clients in their commercial real estate and non-real estate transactions and debt restructure, loan work-outs and business and general corporate matters. In this regard, he currently represents on an on-going continuing basis various in-state financial institutions and has also represented various out-of-state financial institutions as their needs arise in Florida.
