Born in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Berkowitz graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 1988, and from Valparaiso University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1991. Mr. Berkowitz was initially admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1991 and admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994. Mr. Berkowitz was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan in 1991, the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, in 1994, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2000, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2003, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America in 2011.
Mr. Berkowitz professional memberships include the State Bar of Michigan, The Florida Bar and The Palm Beach County Bar Association.
